Who operates this site
Blutek Media operates Blutek Labs at labs.blutekmedia.com, including Car Deal Check and Job Challenge. This notice explains how those tools handle information. The company website has its own privacy notice . Contact jmarchalonis@blutekmedia.com with privacy questions.
Information you enter
When you submit a manual calculation, the numbers you enter are sent to our server to calculate the result. These calculations do not use AI. Entries and results remain in the open page while you use its tabs. The app does not save them in a database or browser storage; refreshing or closing the page clears the app’s current entries.
If you download or print a result, that copy is under your control. Deleting information from the page does not delete copies you saved, printed, or sent elsewhere.
Job Challenge games, drafts, and submissions
Playing a saved challenge does not call an AI provider. Opening a result page sends your five answer numbers in the page URL so the server can calculate the fictional ending. We do not maintain play histories or leaderboards. URLs may appear in browser history and infrastructure request logs.
The workshop keeps a temporary draft in this browser when you save or preview it. Downloaded drafts and result images remain under your control. Sharing sends the selected text, image, or link to the service you choose. You can remove the local draft in the workshop or clear this site’s browser storage.
Choosing “Submit for review” sends the complete story to our private server storage. Moderators can read it. It is not publicly playable or included in the community collection until approved. Approved stories are public, can be shared and remixed, and may appear beside advertising. Do not include real names, employer details, private customer information, or material you cannot share.
A private management key is saved in your browser; the server keeps a one-way hash of that key. It lets you check status, retrieve your submission, and remove it. Download a private access file to retain access on another device. Anyone with that file can manage the submission, so do not share it. Removing an approved submission makes its original public link unavailable; it does not remove independently saved copies, previously created remixes, or posts on outside services.
Pending, rejected, and hidden submissions expire after 30 days without a status change. Approved submissions remain until removed. Cleanup runs hourly while the service is running and when submission services run. Operational backups may retain older copies until their normal rotation; restored data must preserve subsequent deletion requests.
When AI drafting is enabled and you request it, your job description and situation are sent to the configured AI provider, currently Cloudflare Workers AI. The generated draft is saved privately for seven days so it can be recovered without another model call. AI generation never publishes a story automatically. Its request key and input may also remain in this browser until you clear that request. Drafting is paused while the AI controls are off.
We keep keyed hashes of network addresses for daily submission and generation limits; raw addresses are not saved in those application counters. Counters are removed after seven days. Reports store a challenge identifier, selected reason, a keyed network-address hash, and a timestamp for up to 30 days. We use them to review content and technical problems. Screening results stay with a submission while it is held. A content fingerprint and screening result may remain for up to 30 days after removal to avoid repeated checks; private moderation decisions and notes are retained for up to 90 days. Review access uses a protected session lasting up to two hours. Moderation notes and screening records are not shown to players or used to target ads.
When configured, Cloudflare Turnstile checks submission requests. AI drafting requires this check before it can call a model. The check loads only when you request a protected action and may process browser and device signals under Cloudflare’s privacy policy . Free manual submissions also have request limits, a hidden bot field, and review before publication. Submitted stories may be checked by Cloudflare Workers AI to help identify unsuitable content and quality issues, even while public AI drafting is paused. The complete submitted story is sent for this screening; browser-only drafts and gameplay are not. Screening assists a human moderator and does not publish stories automatically. This service review is separate from advertising consent.
Optional AI analysis
When available and requested by you, AI analysis sends quote text or compressed document images to Cloudflare Workers AI to extract information and explain the result. This does not happen for manual calculations or while public AI is paused. Check extracted values against your document before relying on a result.
Selected images are resized and re-encoded before upload. The server validates them and uses private temporary files, removed when processing completes or fails. Recovery cleanup handles files left by an interrupted process. Our deletion practices do not describe a provider’s own processing. See Cloudflare’s Workers AI data-use information and privacy policy.
Submit only information needed for the tool. Remove names, addresses, signatures, account numbers, and other personal details from quotes where possible. Do not upload identity documents, Social Security numbers, credit applications, or bank statements.
When public AI is available, AI import requires confirmed advertising consent. Declined, missing, or unconfirmed consent blocks new AI requests. You can use the manual calculator, guides, saved games, and manual challenge editor without advertising consent. Visitors without a supported consent signal can use those features instead.
To check access, your browser sends the consent message’s encoded choices to our server. We validate them and keep a random, single-use access permit in memory for up to one minute, without retaining the consent string in our application records. Changing your choice revokes pending access. A request already sent to the AI provider may finish processing.
Optional vehicle lookup
A VIN lookup sends the vehicle identification number to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vPIC service. Successful VIN results may remain in server memory in a limited cache; cached results are reused for up to one hour. They are not written to our database. See the NHTSA privacy policy.
Visits, security, and service records
Delivering and protecting the site involves technical information such as your IP address, browser, requested page, and request time. DigitalOcean provides our hosting and Cloudflare provides DNS and the optional AI service. These and other service providers may process technical information needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot their services.
We use request limits and security controls to reduce abuse. Application records may include error types, request identifiers, AI model and token usage, timing, and daily usage counts. We do not include quote text, uploaded images, calculator results, or challenge text in those usage records. Operational records and correspondence are retained as needed for support, security, and applicable obligations; they do not share the temporary-upload deletion schedule.
If you email us, we receive what you send and use it to respond and manage the inquiry. Email providers process that correspondence. A contact link opens your email application; it does not automatically subscribe you to marketing.
Planned Google advertising
We plan to support these free tools with Google AdSense. Ads are not active yet. When enabled, Google and its advertising partners may receive information such as your IP address, browser or device details, the page visited, approximate location, and ad interactions. They use information to deliver and measure ads, limit repeated ads, detect fraud, and personalize advertising where permitted and according to your choices.
We do not send quote text, document uploads, or calculator amounts as advertising parameters or use them to target ads. Advertising is separate from the optional AI service. An advertisement is not an endorsement of an advertiser or a recommendation based on your quote.

Your privacy choices
There is no advertising consent record to change on this site while advertising and consent scripts are inactive.
When ads are enabled, Google's consent message will offer eligible visitors, including those in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, choices to consent, not consent, or manage purposes and providers. Privacy controls on Car Deal Check will allow you to revisit your decision and use applicable US-state opt-out options. Required consent and opt-out controls must be available before advertising is activated.
You can manage Google ad personalization in My Ad Center . Those Google settings do not replace consent choices for this site. Browser settings let you delete or block cookies; doing so can reset preferences or affect tool functionality. Choosing non-personalized ads does not necessarily prevent all technical processing, measurement, or fraud prevention.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; or opt out of certain advertising uses. Contact us using the address below. We may need to verify a request, and can only act on information we hold or control. You may also contact your local data-protection authority.
Purposes and international processing
We process information to provide the tools you request, respond to correspondence, protect the service, and meet applicable obligations. Where a legal basis is required, this may be providing the requested service, legitimate interests in operating and securing it, legal obligations, or consent for optional uses where required. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Our providers may process information in countries other than yours. Their privacy information explains their processing and transfer practices. These tools and fictional work scenarios are intended for adults; they are not directed to children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information.
